I still haven't found a copy of this movie for download, with or without English subtitles; and they haven't announced a distribution agreement with the USA (or any other English-speaking country).

If I'm going to pay for it, I'd like it to be in English and region one (I don't have any way to region-crack blu-rays ... yet). And yes, I will buy a legal copy when one such becomes available.
But I'm surprised that, within days of this being released in theaters (last December) there weren't already bootleg camcorder recordings available online. When the last Rebuild of Evangelion movie was released in Japan, I downloaded a copy days later and watched it (in raw Japanese, sans subtitles)... and I bought the blu-ray with English translations as soon as it was released in the USA. But several months after Yamato hit the theaters... nothing.
I wouldn't mind waiting, if I knew it was coming... but it hasn't even been licensed for the USA (or England, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.)
The film has been licensed for international distribution by several companies: Wild Side Films (France), Splendid Film (
