What a unique place! I love the dog house. But the guy must have really thought a lot of himself, placing his portrait among, no, above, all those great authors. And then to have all the names of his works carved onto the walls of his writing studio! No lack of self esteem here!

I looked at the links to the inside pictures. A truly lovely place.

Haha. I just read a biography of Dumas, and he clearly had a very good opinion of himself ^^ It's part of his immoderation, a bit irritating sometimes but the character is generous enough to remain engaging, anyway.
