Normandy. Grandchamp-le-Château is a very small village along a river : a little church, a few houses... and this castle.
According to the very few informations I found (there), the wooden house was first built in the early middle ages, and modernized in the late 16th century. The stone and brick wing (part of a much larger original plan) was erected in the second part of the 17th century by Richard Tanneguy Le Prévost, marquis of Saint-Julien.
The place still seems to belong to the Le Prévost family.
