i was branded today with an orange wristband that says "American Idol" on it. If i was to audition to be the next American Idol on friday in Omaha, i'd need to keep it intact and dry, or risk forfeiting a chance to audition ( Read more... )

i think you should audition. then i can say my livejournal friend is auditioning for american idol - im therefore cool by association.

plus... its a once in lifetime thing. so go! do it! if no one can cover you, pull a sickie XD

if you want to, you can still say that i am. for brownie points and all. hee.

anyway, i have a few friends who are going to go, so therefore, you're still cool by association anyway. ;)

maybe next year they'll come back and be more prepared.

So, did it work out? Did you get to audition?? That would be so totally cool if you did...

I'm like obsessed with this whole American Idol being in Omaha thing. I'm not even that big of a fan of the show, but the fact that they're here is pretty cool to me.

Would I ever audition? No, they would totally laugh me out of there. I looove to sing but have a terrible voice! Hehehe. Too bad, because it would be super fun if I were able to.

i think if they come back next year (which from what i'm hearing about how today went, might happen) then i'll make sure to be prepared to do it. i just wasn't prepared nor did i plan ahead and took the day off. it would've been super awesome to go and do mostly just to see how far i would've gone.

anyway, theres always next year. and i too am just totally flipping that they are in Omaha. OMAHA!! out of control... but totally awesome. Now i think we should get on the list of major cities... you know how on the weather channel they'll have a whole list of major cities and their temps, or, when you get an appliance (iPod) and they have time zones of major cities, or what not... i think Omaha now deserves to be on that list because if the #1 show in America wants to come here, then that says something.
