Well let me just say this week was the last week with Jen so we did a lot of things...

Sunday was Mother's Day. Jen and I went to see Legally Blonde the Musical. We did student rush tickets. It's so cute! That night we went to Hotel Gansevoort in Chelsea and just had fun relaxing (and ate some really good fries...mmmm!).

So yesterday was my last day of student teaching. It was a good day and I was sad to leave the kids. Of course I'm still going on the field trip with them on Monday and going to their Chorus and Play performances along with Graduation. Here's what I ended up getting from them:

Jenn and I went to watch Spring Awakening (which was amazing, but definitely not for everyone) and little did we know that we'd see Tyra Banks with her manager Benny Medina 6 seats away from us. She's so tall and gorgeous! Such a good celebrity sighting, especially since it's my first. Hopefully more will soon come! :)

Went to see Chicago with Jen and Jenn tonight. Bebe Neuwirth (who originated the role of Velma Kelly in the '96 revival and won a Tony from it...think Lilith from Cheers and Fraiser) was Velma Kelly. It was definitely entertaining. Especially considering we got student rush tickets. Plus I got a fake rose thrown at me from Velma Kelly ( Read more... )

From watching "The Apple Tree" at Studio 54 with the AMAZING Kristin Chenoweth! It was soooo funny! I definitely enjoyed it. I've never laughed quite that much except maybe when I saw Spamalot. First of all...Go Bears! Not only do we still have the Axe but we are also Pac-10 Co-Champions since UCLA beat U$C yesterday (thanks Bruins!). Now we don't get to go to the Rose Bowl since U$C beat us, but that's alright...we still get a share in the title which we haven't won since 1975.
