been there, done that....

also, if you ever rent an apartment with horrid shaggy orange carpet and then get a long haired orange persian cat, the FLOOR will sometimes do that.

we had a black fuzzy throw that lived on the sofa. every now and then it "blinked" because one of the black cats was sleeping on it....

I tend to have the problem of either turning on the wrong burner, or not turning on the burner at all (for stove-top kettles) or plugging in the electric kettle but forgetting to turn it on.

And then I wonder why it's taking so long for the water to boil...

heh, at least it didn't reach up and bite you. My bathmat will do that.

I note that I didn't acutally step on the cat. I stepped on the bathmat. It was the other half of the bathmat that deveoped the offended green eyes.

I did nearly commit suicide by cat, today, when one of the cats did a sudden u-turn as I was rushing to the door...
