Title: Waiting on a friend
Character: Sawyer
Words: 1200
Rating: PG13 - a few bad words. It's all Sawyer's fault, really.
Disclaimer: Lost is not mine, the title is from a Rolling Stones' song and the idea of giving titles
taken from songs is not mine, either! (
janie_tangerine , it's your fault *winks

And well, I can't help seeing Charlie as a sort of protecting spirit for his friends. I'm very glad you liked it!

I'm very glad that you liked line (differently from a previous comment, this one I had to think about, and I'm glad it was worth the effort).
I think that reasoning about not wanting to stay on the beach is not entirely my own doing... halfdutch has given a similar thought to Juliet in this fic, and I was inspired by that.
But yes, the idea that they are presumed dead by their friends is really heartbreaking. *sighs*
Anyway, I'm very glad you liked it! Thank you for reading and commenting. :)

I'm happy you liked it, even if it fitted your prompt only in part.

That clearing scene is my favorite from Season 1, and I have a strong emotional attachment to the song American Pie!

I too think that Sawyer could easily be an artist - his career as a conman only being in support of this idea.
I loved that scene in the clearing too (of course! One of the best J/S scenes...) and I'm glad that you liked my choice of song (It was hard! Not being American myself, to find something not too modern, not too difficult, and not completely out of character).
Thank you for reading and commenting. :)
