Aww, I really like all the tension and conflictedness in this--Maya's frustrated disbelief at the idea of Sylar getting off scot free for all the crimes he committed, and his obvious guilt and remorse for what he did to her. (I loved it in "I Am Become Death" when he called himself a monster; it's about time he showed some real guilt.)

Looking forward to the next part! (There will be another part, right?)

There's that but on the other hand he's got a child to raise and he appears to be doing a great job. He doesn't even like his powers anymore it seems. He really did seem to have changed, no excuse but it makes everything much more conflicted.

Thanks! But I think she was strong before, I always have (people tend to belittle or dismiss what she had to do to get to NY alone, not even mentioning her emotional state, personally I don’t think I would have had the perseverance and dedication to do that. But I guess “strong“ is a differing term.)

Yeah it’s really hard for her, she’s got every reason not to trust him but if he is offering her an end to running then that’s a strong persuasion to stay.

Daddy Gabe is a thing of beauty, yes. ^__^
