Review of the year!

Jan 03, 2008 16:58

No, no, this time it's a good review! I pulled out some bad ones, so here's some gushing that actually helped me restore faith in the Silencio readers!

"Wow, so I need to tackle this while the emotions are fresh in my mind. I just
spent the last 4 hours soaking up every word of your story. It is without a
doubt one of the most remarkable pieces of ( Read more... )

*giggle* I love your avie... Am I a lost cause for knowing where the quote is from? (BtVS 6x07 - Once More, With Feeling, from Spike's part in Walk Through The Fire)

And thanks ^_^ Wow, January 3rd is official Gush Day *giggles madly*

Haha I snagged it from... ah shite, I momentarily have forgotten who the icon-maker is, but you can see the credits on my user info! She had a whole bunch of them quotes and they're all really funny! I didn't know that this one in particular was taken from BtVS, though, but Spike is just... ooh. ;)

Nah, if every day is a gushing day, I'd be one happy pisser! As it is, I am already fifty seven minutes into the 4th! Struggling with characterising a three-year-old!Draco Malfoy. He's such a spoiled little berk. Lord.

Haha how's the essay coming along babe?

I am a huge BtVS fan. And a huge Spike fan. Apparently I like platinum-blond badasses, huh?

Essay? What essay? =_=

I did the reading, I think. (I cut the material a bit because I really only have to do 3000 words and having too much material can confuzzle everyone) but my word count? A whooping 0! The hardest part is always writing the first things down... Well, for me, anyway.

So, I guess she liked it? mazvn January 3 2008, 18:52:23 UTC
Wow I don't think I could write a review like that even if I tried.

I mean, I actually agree with her but I'm still all "wow that's some heavy duty praising there".
My vocabulary of praising extends from "I like it" to "I really like it". Ehe, must be a man thing.

Wow! That was some gushing! :D

Of course, if she read the whole thing in one go, I can understand the need to gush a little... Or maybe just a tad more. ;)

It seems to me that I really need to work on my gushing skillz.
Ahem. Here goes.

*Clears throat*

I sold a book? That's pretty damn good, considering it's not even written XD

My point exactly! Think of how many you'd sell once it IS written!
