I have had pretty poor internet connection since I moved to Milwaukee. It would let me browse for a little while, then inform me that my network cable was unplugged. It would take several minutes before I could get reconnected. And sites like Facebook never worked properly

sounded more like parental control there. if given a choice between comcast and verizon...chose verizon. sooner or later time / warner will turn into comcast. but like you, have the ENTIRE street wasn't getting any tv or internet for six weeks and comcast saying that we all were nuts, that they showed we were getting service...we switched. now they are knocking our doors down with deals. nope. they blew it.

The internet is actually already provided by my apartment complex and the price is included in my rent. If I went with another company, I would be paying more money than I technically have to. Also, it would be money I don't have. :-(
