As I mentioned in my last post, a friend of mine died Wednesday. We never met in person, but we've been on each other's friends lists on LJ, DW, and Tumblr for at least ten years. She was a singular person, the kind you think about even when you're not in constant communication, the kind of person who leaves an imprint on your picture of the world

I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew *of* both Abby and Tam_nonlinear...but I never put them together as the same person. This is a beautiful tribute.

I just turned on the tv, something I never do during the day, for some mindless noise, and Return to Me is on some random cable channel. I needed this, a fairytale moment, after this terrible week.
