Tonight was my Dad's retirement dinner. Oh lord, it was amazing. My Dad ruled the night. He had the best speech about him, and he gave the best acceptance speech, too. I'm really proud of him, for working the streets of Toronto for thirty three years in one of the toughest regions of Toronto. And my Mom dressed up, too. She never dresses up at all

Sounds like sooo much fun. Geez. And when you told me you were going to your dad's retirement party I thought it would be boring as hell. Well.. then.. you proved me wrong. But then again, I think it's cool your dad's a cop. You definitely would've won the "my dad could beat up your dad" fight.
