Do you know, I still haven't read, or seen, the twilight stuffs :D Maybe that fact that my frnds, rl and online, aren't into it helps. I mean, if pl around me were talking about stuff, then I'd become curious to check them out. But that hasn't happened :D
The only one I can bear to think about is the blanket. I like the juxtaposition of green with blue, it's pretty.
Also, it looks warm and snuggly, and goodness knows we can all use more of that currently. The weather is even bad in Australia. (I mean...massive FLOODS?...in AUSTRALIA?...It's SUMMER there! They're supposed to be worrying about DROUGHT!)
Although I suppose we could revive the Russian reversal: "In America people grudgingly tolerate weather; in Russia weather grudgingly tolerates YOU!!
...nah.
Don't want to think about politics, World Cup, Superbowl, or which TV or movie star is divorcing one spouse to wed another, and why this time it's for real.
I'd just like some sunshine for a few days. (Even if that makes the temperature drop below freezing and stick there.) We just got another 5 inches of snow. Boo.
Oh it's a lovely blanket :) I have it over me now ! It is very snuggly, yes it is.
Yep, floods in Oz. Worrying. And it usually gets bushfires ! I wonder what it'll be like in the other places wch get bushfires in the n-hemisphere come summer. I'm also reminded of PTerry's book 'The Last Continent' where the 'big wet' came.
In those pics - just look at the position of Egypt and the positioning of 'South Africa' in the Amazon Basin *HEADDESK*
Weelll, I daresay in parts of Russia the weather grudgingly really does tolerate you *Shiver* 'General' Winter, I believe, is a real tough baby.
How's the weather going on now ? Hope it improves soon. Snow and no sunshine can be maddening *SHIVER*
The temp was above freezing today! Woo-hoo! Everything started to melt...started, that is.
That necessitated digging out my car (it was still buried under the snow) if I want to use it before Spring...onnacounta we knew everything was going to freeze again once the sun went down, and perhaps stay frozen for the next six weeks. So instead of snow, my car would then be encased in solid ice.
The digging-out took all three of us: husband, son, and I, but we got that sucker on the road, and now we eagerly await Spring. Only five more weeks (from Wednesday). Come ON, Spring!
