So I've been thinking lately about getting away, and it turns out that I've just gotten to the point where all the flying I've done in my twenties is finally about to pay off. Two distinct airlines are poised to give me free stuff for loyalty

Like I said, California has some great spots. You might want to check whether you can also go to places like Puerto Rico. I've always wanted to hit the Florida Keys. You can fly direct on Soutwest from PVD to Ft. Lauderdale, then it's less than 2 hrs by car to Key Largo. Or you can fly from PVD with one stop to Ft. Meyers and take a boat to the keys. Sounds pretty amazing.
