You'll like* Dodgeball. "Very silly" isn't quite encompassing enough.

*Okay, I like it. That means everyone should.

Hmm... I'm imagining a fan of "House" watching "Blackadder" for the first time... or the other way around, really.

Seconded.

Did you know Hugh appeared in Annie Lennox's "Walking on Broken Glass" video in his foppish 18th cent. costume? Good times. Also, John Malkovitch.

I have a friend who I usually associate with having more "high brow" taste in films than do (but still, Adam Sandler vehicles are usually beneath me, and I've only seen the first four Police Academy films :-) ....) ....

... but he raved about Dodgeball until I ended up buying a (cheap) copy .. and yes, it's great fun! I think Anchorman is slightly better, but only just, and it certainly beats Zoolander (though I have been accused of doing a "Blue Steel" for some photos a chap at work took with me in them .. (grin!))

Don't know if anyone else has pinged you on this...

http://imdb.com/title/tt0381849/

For starters, you've got Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. Nummy. Then add on Peter Fonda. Okay, weirdness.

Then add on Alan Tudyk. In a Western.

WITHOUT the spaceship.

Good little movie with a nice ending...gotta have a good ending for me.

Also, who does Zachary Quinto [Sylar] play?

Well, I didn't IMDB, but there's a guy who looks *just* like him as one of the big bad team uglies. (Blazer, maybe?)

Apparently (after a bit of searching), I have decided that Brandon Molale and Zachary Quinto are secret twin brothers in a big steroids experiment. (I'm serious -- look at the middle of the little pictures of him, doesn't that kind of look like a buffed-up Sylar?)
