When someone else talked about Stupid Design and mentioned menstrual cramps, I wrote the following:

It's not just cramps--I mean, any intelligent design can go wrong if it hasn't been implemented quite right.

But look at the whole concept of menstruation itself! "We'll build a guest house on this rich, fertile property. And then, if no one comes to visit, we'll tear it all down. Then we build it up again, in case a guest arrives during the next month. But if not...."
