The lovely Grant sat through an excruciatingly long description today of that story that attacked me in my sleep two nights ago. When I was done, I declared my inability to decide what length it should be.

I had some pretty vivid and intense dreams last night. Sometimes I will dream up a story, but last night was unique in that the story was so solid, so structured. It wasn't entirely finished upon waking, but I woke up at 3:30 with a very solid seed. I laid in bed for two hours working out details, and I was just amazed...
