i think i could see you being like..i don't know, why don't you be a psychologist. you're all into psychology. i mean, you get PSYCHOLOGY TODAY. and psychiatrists have to go to school for a million years, and can prescribe drugs, i think that's the only real difference..or a counselor for just counsely things rather than financial planning. this is all based on your liking for psychology and this sentence: and helping with general.. help.

I like reading and writing and chatting about this and that. I like organizing things. I like typing. I like boring little solitary monotonous tasks, and helping with general.. help

I'd feel so bad being a critic. =X I mean even if I thought it was sucky, someone else might have their life changed by this book; who am I to tell them that it's crappy D: all I could really judge on without feeling bad is techinical bits like poor use of a word or something. My dad always says i should be a critic so I can travel around and see this and that, but I don't know.. plus I bet in journalism school (which is really hard to get into, which has killed my spirits a bit as well as teaching), they kill anything you'd have to say that's original, like "oh well if the theme isn't evident by such and such a point, its.. BAD".. or . something. mad dotdotting sorry

i think your best bet is to get an english degree. experiment in your first year and see which angle you want to go for your second and third. it's the best way to figure out what you wanna do.

you're pretty much garunteed a job outside of school and it's only hard when you make it.

I was teaching myself how to do Gels/Aycrlics (SP)during my second month... we weren't supposed to learn them until month 5, and i was told my nails were better then the other girls, who were GRADUATING!!

so don't knock esthetics or anything???

You can always use that as a side career too ya know????

Oh I know it's a respectable career path and all, it's just not something I'm really interested in for myself. I know they teach you and all, but it's probably a bit easier to begin with if you have even the slightest skill in doing hair or nails or something. And I'm lacking that.

Besides, I'd be so scared of giving someone a haircut that they absolutely hated, or leaving bleach on too long and ruining their hair, something like that. D:
