Lizard Eater whose blog is called the Journey wrote the following describing what Unitarian Universalists do in response to a personal crisis. Her 2 year old daughter has a childhood cancer that has returned and is having chemo now. Lizard Eater has given me permission to quote her words

Spirit of Life is one of my favorites, too. In Wausau we often do it with hand motions.

The prayer is so powerful. We all have times when we need help going on. I'm so sorry that this is such a time for you and Dick.
