Unohana had felt the new addition to the household, but had deemed it unnecessary to disturb her while she rested. This was one person that she knew she could let in without a problem, after all.

So she waited for the small surge in reiatsu that signalled her new guest had woken up before she went to knock on the now occupied bedroom's door.

"Kuchiki-san ? May I come in ?"

Rukia jumped at the sound of another's voice, then scolded herself mentally. She must still be waking up if she hadn't noticed the presence of a captain's spiritual energy. "Unohana-taichou! Yes, of course, please do."

She smoothed her hair back, embarrassed to have an audience with a captain while she was in such a state. The entire world that they knew might be gone, but that was no excuse for her not to show the captain the respect she was due.

Unohana opened the door and greeted her newest guest with a smile.

"I am glad you could make it here, Kuchiki-san. I hope you managed to sleep," she added conversationally, even though she knew the answer to that. This was exactly how she always made everyone confortable, by saying things that one should say no matter what.

She went to open the window. The least one could say was that the air wasn't the freshest, but it did not mean that you could get away with not letting it in. Especially with so many people in the house.

"I got worried when you did not answer to my bakudou spell, but it seems I was wrong to worry. Are you hungry, Kuchiki-san ?"

"Thank you, Captain. I'm sorry it took me so long to arrive here. In the time I was pulled from, we were in a dangerous situation." She hesitated, then decided not to elaborate. It would help nothing now. "I did not wish to compound the danger by leaving them on their own. But it seems that whatever experiment has pulled us here is doing so at different rates."

She moved to stand beside the captain by the window (at a respectful distance, of course.) The world outside looked different from what she was used to, but held no indication of the chaos within it. "I suppose I could eat, Unohana-taichou. But I want to know..." She hesitated, unsure of how to phrase the questions in her mind. Did they wait for the rest of Soul Society's command center to be pulled here as well? Was anarchy the only thing left to them? "What do we do now?"

Minato walked in, then, still supporting Faust. He could hear voices from further inside, but didn't know who they were. (He'd only spoken to Unohana once, and didn't really remember her voice too well, not that he would be able to tell from the doorway.) "We're here," he called out, hoping that there was at least someone there, if not Unohana (and hopefully she was) who could help.

Faust was quite happy! It was a clinic, which meant rest, and attention for his leg. It was a very good thing. He, like Minato heard voices, but would wait to introduce himself until the time came. He was usually a fine hit in a social situation... really.

Unohana's head turned sharply in the direction of the door as she heard the voices and she rose to meet the new arrivals, signalling to Kuchiki-san to come with her as she did.

"Arisato-san," she said as she realized who that was. "And ..."

The energy coming from that one would have made a fainter shinigami swoon. It was not life, it was not death either but such a mixing of the two, wrapped into each other, that Unohana could only wonder about it. There was still a faint smell of a human soul in there, though.

Unohana smiled gently to the newcomer.

"And you would be the person Arisato-san told me about ? I am Unohana Retsu, and this is the place where I have settled down. Now if you need medical attention, the ward might be the best place to start. Arisato-san, could you please help him a bit more ? Kuchiki-san, give him a hand, if you please. This way."

"It's nice to finally meet you," Minato said, nodding in Unohana's direction; it wasn't as though he could do much else as a gesture of greeting, not for the time being. The pause she'd given when she looked to Faust was a bit unnerving, but maybe not completely uncalled for. (He was a bit odd, but he hadn't tried to kill anyone yet, so that was a plus.) "And thanks. For letting us stay here, and helping out." It really did mean a lot, especially given the circumstances, everything that had happened. So he prepared to follow Unohana; anything she could do to help Faust would be good, for healing wasn't really his forte. (A small patch job here and there wasn't really worth a lot, he knew this well.)
