Allen would be safest if Lucifer was in a different body and zip code when dealing with Raphael. The archangel was in better shape than she had been: no more vessel damage, at least, with the beginnings of decay and wear pushed back for the time since Allen's ministrations. But Allen's failure to repair the damage and her own frustrated wish to heal Rachel had shoved the reality in her face that nothing would ever be the same. She was still an abomination.

When Lucifer showed up she just turned around, meeting his eyes calmly. She knew exactly why he was here. "Not breaking out the welcome wagon, Lucifer?"

"Oh, I am. But this is the wrong meatsuit." He knew that Raphael knew that already, but he played along anyway, being as patient as he could be. Which said a lot, actually--Lucifer was a remarkably patient person.

He looked her over with some satisfaction; the vessel was holding together at least. Logically it would be a matter of quid pro quo for her to fix up Nick for him, but this was the Celestial family, and nothing was ever logical.

Raphael just raised an eyebrow at him and looked away again with an air that said the view of the city from this roof was infinitely more interesting than him.
