Zephyr walked out of one of the abandoned stores, as he was on another supply run, an old rugged backpack slung casually over his shoulder, filled with small tools, food items, and other miscellaneous things. Also, Sliver the overgrown tegu was draped across his shoulders, apparently sleeping.

Zephyr looked up after checking his PCD, having not been home since before the heatwave, he wanted to keep up to date on recent events. He spotted a figure a short ways off and pressed a button on the control panel under his hoodie, his scan visor locking into place in front of his eyes. Reading all the data it could give him, he shut it down, satisfied that it wasn't anyone he already knew much about. He paused a moment before actually speaking, not wanting to startle the girl.

"Hello there."

Momo turned when she heard the voice behind her. She hadn't really been startled, a little surprised, sure, but she had thought she had heard something a few moments before he spoke. She smiled, though the look faded the tiniest bit when she spotted the lizard on the man's shoulders.

She fiddled with the PCD for a moment, taking quite a while to turn off the map...thing. This thing was much too confused. "Hi, um, I'm Hinamori Momo." The smile on her face brightened. She loved meeting new people, making new friends, she practically thrived on it.

Zephyr smiled faintly in return, reaching up to pat the lazy reptile. "Don't worry about Sliver, he's pretty much harmless." He grinned and let his hand go back to his side.

"I'm Zephyr Shadiene. You're new here, aren't you?"

Momo's eyes stayed on the lizard for a moment longer. "He's big," she said when she finally returned her attention to the man that the lizard was lounged on. She'd never seen anything like that lizard. Despite Zephyr's insistence that he was harmless, she would be lying if she said the lizard didn't worry her.

She nodded quickly at his question. "I just got here. Though, I'm sure that my oblivious fiddling with this thing-" she waved around the PCD, "-made that completely obvious."
