Who: Anyone and everyone Where: Blessenwood; central square and surrounding areas When: Several days after the guild meeting's conclusion; afternoon Why: There's about a foot of snow on the ground, so go play!
[Mithos had been sitting inside the guild building, making good use of his freedom from the need to sleep, filling out extraneous paperwork. Now that he was the leader of the Wuldorwurth chapter of Ad Libitum, he had been working for almost twelve straight hours, signing initials and handling financial garbage with the lease on a new building in the City of Knights. He had even taken the time to write a letter to Forcystus, wherever he was, asking him to come with him. He was surprised that Forcystus, being one of his most loyal followers back on Aselia, didn't volunteer already; no matter. He'd come around eventually.
It wasn't until Mithos heard a loud thump on the window in his temporary office in the Guild Building that he finally turned around. A snowball had hit the window, and a little human kid was visibly running away. Mithos had half a mind to magically light his coat on fire, but he didn't... he couldn't afford to tick off the other members of the guild over something so stupid. Regardless, Mithos did get up from his table
( ... )
[Although his first meeting with Mithos was a bit hostile, Lloyd was willing to try again. If Martel was alive here, after all... Maybe Mithos wouldn't be so, well... nuts. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and walked up, though he kept his distance.]
[Oh, look, Lloyd actually wanted to talk to him. Mithos sighed, but decided that it would be for the better if he responded, rather than blow him off.]
[You can't blame the guy for being shocked and confused and all those other little emotions. :( Lloyd looked around at his surroundings, a light smile on his face.]
You can have a lot of fun in weather like this. Ever had a snowball fight?
[Lloyd had been bored for as long as he'd been here. He didn't have much to do, after all, what with not joining with the guild just yet. Not yet. First, he had to see to Unicia and possibly visit the other areas. They were in need, too, after all. And Blessenwood, while like Iselia and thus nostalgic for him, seemed to have many people helping it already.
But his boredom was about to be dashed, for one look outside, and he could see the blanket of snow covering the entire city. Although he was tempted to go outside, instead, he ducked into the blacksmith's shop and began to work on something.
Two hours later, Lloyd was outside with several sleds being dragged behind him, fresh with the scent of cut pine. He wore a red coat and a white scarf, but otherwise, he looked relatively the same. As he moved to a place where he saw people playing, he cleared his throat and took in a deep breath, then yelled out.]
[Kratos, like Tear, was watching the town, but his attention wasn't on the children's wintertime games. Rather, Kratos was trying to get a general feel for the current status of Blessenwood as a whole. It was a fact that the Negativity remained a very real problem, and another case like the one concerning Asch the Bloody could develop at any time.
Of course, this did not stop the mercenary (still clad in his usual attire and very much apathetic towards the cold) from being distracted by the sight of his own son lugging several sleds towards the group of children. Well, at least Lloyd had found ways to cope with his own tendency towards becoming bored halfway through.
Kratos paused for a moment, his patrol not quite forgotten and his attention somewhat split between one duty and another, to see how events would unfold.
The last time he had seen it snow like this had been that night in Flanoir, hadn't it? Hrm.]
[One boy ran up to him and asked for a sled, eyes wide and bright with excitement and wonder. Grinning, Lloyd pushed the sled to him with his foot.]
Here you go. Have fun with that!
[Getting free stuff, especially something like a sled, is always a wonderful thing for children. The little boy was thrilled, and he gave Lloyd a brief expression of thanks before he raced off to have fun with the sled. Lloyd waved after the child, then looked around, searching for more people to give them to. But during this, he spotted the stoic mercenary. Was he watching him? Not knowing that Kratos was currently on patrol, Lloyd decided to take the opportunity.
He walked towards him, a smile spreading on his face as he pulled a few more sleds behind him.]
[A canine walked through the white snow. It's probably his second time went through this. There's no need to stress out while watching the purest winter and cheering kids, Repede's totally enjoyed. He didn't noticed the Natsu-Natsu that should be with him, but he eventually will meet again anyway.]
[As he glanced to the two figures, the boy who called the other one 'dad'. Coincidentally, Repede stood not too far from them. But he will kept quiet, listen to their conversation.]
[Instead of holing himself up in his room as usual, Dist had decided to go for a walk today. He was wearing pretty much his usual attire; he scarcely noticed the cold, which had never really bothered him. Well, except that it made his nose run sometimes. Not all the time or anything, though! Just occasionally. Really. It could happen to anyone
( ... )
[Oh. That voice. Tear glanced up in time to note Dist the Runny Reaper, a member of the (she assumed) now disbanded God-Generals and Jade's childhood... friend. (Or was he merely an innocent victim?) She fixed the two problem children with a scolding look, then raised her voice so that the other Auldranti might hear.]
I'm surprised that someone like yourself isn't capable of putting up with the children's snowball fight. Considering how the Colonel left you stranded out in the cold for days...
[Dist indignantly brushed off the back of his head and his flower petal collar. Really, what if his poor clothes had gotten messed up? Oh, that thought was too terrible to bear. Those kids would really have been in trouble then.
And, damn, she'd noticed him. Just wonderful.]
What? Of course I can! Why, in my childhood, I excelled at snowball fights! You could even say I was the undisputed champion of Keterberg. [No need to mention that, while technically you could indeed say it, you would be very, very wrong if you did.] However, these brats ought to know better than to pick on those who are older, wiser, and better dressed!
[Then he noticed the thing (hm, was it the same sort of creature as Paneer?) that was trying to get Tear's attention - and how dare it interrupt this conversation that Dist hadn't really wanted to get into in the first place! ...Uh, wait, on second thought... no, it was still completely rude either way! Dist glared at it and huffed.]
[Jay was still resisting his uncertain feelings within as he stepped out of the guild building. He was perfect content with the idea of just slipping out of town and just wandering around on his own for a while, but at the moment, there were just too many people outside. He wouldn't be able to slip out without being noticed.]
[So he moved to the side of the crowd and sat on a snowy curb to watch everyone play. He did show the slightest hint of a smile when someone hit Dist with a snowball, however. Part of him was tempted to join the snowball fight, but his mood did not give him the energy to do so.]
[Chat normally fine with cold weather but still she wasn't fond with winter. It's been awhile her last visit to Pureti and now here. She missed snow for years, even though she hated to play with.]
[She had to decline few offer from the kids who wished to play with her. She better find somewhere with less people and she finally ended up stood behind a purple boy. The cold chill got on her nerves and without noticed, it got on her nose too.]
[Snow! Mao half wondered if Veigue was behind this (for some reason, Mao was in some kind of denial about Veigue actually being on Atlas), but instead of waiting around for his Claire-obsessed friend, he decided to go ahead and play with the other kids.
Even if they only knew him as "that crazy kid who likes to set things on fire," they still welcomed him with open arms for a snowball fight. It may be cold outside, but Mao could always heat things up. And besides! Throwing random snowballs at people was fun!]

Brrr! It sure is cold out here!
[He then spotted Tear, apparently building a snowman with a little girl.]
Hey, Tear! Are you building a snowman?

*Sneeze!*
[Oh, that's too bad.]

H-Hey! Would you kindly not sneeze on me!?

Sorry, it came out suddenly. And don't worry, it wasn't a virus. *snorts*
[Chat then looked around, they were standing away from the crowded area]
