Epic Blanket

Jun 22, 2010 11:45

So I finally finished a blanket I've been knitting since FEBRUARY!! *tosses confetti*

This is a gift for my cousin, who is getting married this weekend. He's 6'5" so I wanted something big enough to cover him.

Photos and whatnot... )

blanket, knitting, true blood

Thanks! In the beginning I had to do a lot of unknitting because I'd make one mistake and then everything would be off by one stitch, but after a while I got used to it.

So cute!

PLEASE tell me that everyone else died of laughter during that bit where Sookie was all "I just keep waiting for Bill to show up and be all '...SUCKEH...'"

That blanket makes me SERIOUSLY envious. It's just cool. Clearly this means I should practice my knitting.

Thanks! That's all you need with knitting - a little practice and then it's all gravy from there haha.

P.S. I love your icon!

I should try it at work. Half the nurses spend the late shift knitting away and talking about celebrities. No one will notice!

Awh thanks!

Thanks! Knitting really isn't all that hard, it just takes a little patience in the beginning.
