I'm so excited about Lost! Are you willing to make those new "must be" icons, since it's Tuesday now? When I first read about the time change, people were bemoaning their now useless icons, lol.
It feels so weird that Lost is going to be on Tuesdays, but there's not much else on (or that I watch, at least) Tuesdays. So it's a good thing in perspective.
I've seen you write a few times about knitting and post pictures of your work. I'm learning to knit myself, or at least trying to. My aunt is helping me when she can, but I still find myself wanting to throw the knitting needles at the wall sometimes.
I was wondering if you had any tips for a beginner?
1. Go to knittinghelp.com - it's a ton of free videos that show you how to do every knitting thing ever. Very VERY helpful.
2. Sign up at Ravelry.com. It's amazing.
3. Don't be afraid to mess up and rip things out (also known as frogging) - it's going to happen, so get used to it haha.
4. Buy a good knitting book - a lot of people learn (myself included) from Stitch and Bitch. It's a great beginners book that is written in plain English and it's got really good illustrations.
I taught myself how to knit 4 years ago and there are still times I want to throw my needles at the wall, but really once you learn the basics it's pretty simple!
And of course if you have any questions I'm always around :D
Helloooooo. So actually yesterday I somehow got to wondering, "Hey, has Ack posted lately and I totally missed it??" So I checked and no, you had not. :) But here you are! Yay!
No worries, I'm too busy to be on here too, so off I go again....

I AM OUTRAGED OVER WAITING TIL JANUARY. OUTRAGED. And rather whiny, apparently.

I'm not outraged, I'm kind of glad because once Lost starts again I have no life for 5 months haha.

I'm hoping the winter will be boring and then I'll have more time for such things.
