so, i went with the Logan/Veronica one.

Logan sticking his tongue out and waiting for her to put the mint on it is an excellent detail. Love. It.

But I think this was my favorite line: "Thanks for taking care of me, Veronica." His tone was almost sincere, but she knew to wait for the other shoe to drop. "Had lots of practice with your mom, huh?" And there it was.

I could hear the "And there it was" in Veronica Voiceover.

Painful, but so good. I really loved Veronica giving him the mint, and even though he didn't disappoint her by making the crack about her mother, she helped him anyway. It's a nice precursor to when they become more than friends.

You have always have great metaphors that really hit the nail on the head.

God, sometimes it felt like they were all heading toward the edge of a cliff, albeit at different paces. Logan loped at a steady pace. Duncan hung back as long as he could stand it and then took a flying leap. She had already been pushed over the side and was just trying to hang on by the tips of her fingers however she could manage it.

This is such a great way to describe their condition at this point in time, especially since it specifically relates to Duncan's actions that you refer to.

And I like that underneath the vicious sniping, there is an undercurrent of caring about each other, and all of them are quite unable to do anything about the status quo.

One of my favorite quotes about Logan Echolls is from TWOP review of "An Echolls Family Christmas" and goes a little something like this: "With one hand Logan giveth, and with the other he bitch-slappeth away." thanks! well, apparently there's a desperate fanfic muse smacking me around lately to further her own agenda, so - more fic coming down the pipe. one is at a beta (VM), one is word vomiting from my brain in small segments (syelle).

and if someone wanted to make a sylar/elle vid of that wolf parade song...i'm just saying, that would only be the most awesomest thing ever, if there was someone who wanted to do that, i mean...
