Oh, and the thing about people in Darfur, etc? That has nothing to do with evolution, actually. It has more to do with selection, but not entirely natural selection. More to the point of natural checks and balances that (traditionally) help to control populations.

Fact is that in King Arthur's time, the average height was 5'3" (that was his height, actually).
Average male height these days is 5'10". Esp in the USA, people are taller than in other parts of the world.
We are evolving, and getting taller.
