For your second request, I offer A Picture is Worth a Thousand Lies by mysid. Coming out isn't the theme of the story but there is a chapter in which Remus is hurt because he feels Sirius is ashamed of their relationship. And while this fic is a masterpiece of this fandom, it is set in the OotP timeframe so after a period of intense love, Sirius falls through the veil.

You might prefer Blue Moon by Julie Fortune. Also a masterpiece set very early in OotP. Blue Moon is a hilarious sequel to her Lie Low piece Black Moon but you don't need to read both to enjoy it.
