Remus/Sirius lend themselves very well to angst, I find. ;-)

This next one is very long (12 parts) and has a side of Harry/Draco, but it's one of the most heartbreaking fics I've ever read so I'm throwing it on here. :-D

Hope things get better for you soon.

AUGH MAN. I was totally loving Casualties of War until *COUGH* died. It fucking ruined it for me and I couldn't keep reading it after that. It was too bad 'cause both the R/S and the H/D were beautifully done. God damn it. :(

Oh no! I'm sorry. The OP asked for angst, and I figured I'd throw this one into the mix since the scene you refer to is one of the most devastating ones I've ever read.

I don't want to spoil anything, and obviously if you can't read anymore that's up to you. But there is a bit of plot in part 12 that did help the pain a little bit, at least for me. No resurrection though. :-/

Oh! ahahah, don't worry. I actually read it a long time ago. i was just reminiscing, or something. I did skim the final chapter, just to see how everything ended.

Every now and then I feel like reading it again, but then I think, "what for?" I'd just end up all depressed again. Devastating is def. the right word for it. If I had been warned in advance about the death, I wouldn't have read it at all. I avoid character death like the plague when I read fic for that pairing.

I heard it also has a sequel, but I never read it.
