On my way to work I heard this NPR review about Masters of Science Fiction, a new Twilight Zone-esque mini series on ABC.  Its hosted by Stephen "the coolest dude in our galaxy" Hawking and has a bunch of good actors.  They made all these old sci/fi stories into one shot episodes.  Sounds cool right?  The review was very positive so I thought what ( Read more... )

Gym Class Heroes have produced the worst Beach Boys cover ever.  There is no excuse for this abomination.

I listened to it twice.

I don't post often, but this new RIAA royalty thing has me spitting mad.

If you don't know know, the RIAA has passed a huge rate hikes for some kinds of public performance of music, ie internet and satellite radio. The consensus is that these huge hikes will kill online radio as we know it. No more Pandora, no more KEXP, no more WOXY. Even NPR ( Read more... )

Did anyone ever wonder when they are listening to cd's in the car if the radio is playing that same song? Well I have wondered that. Today, at approximately 10:30am I was driving to the car wash and I was listening to Supertramp. The cd picked up resumed where I left it the day before.
