I'm partial to R. I'm a fan of the old-school rising sun design.

I find it funny, and a little disturbing, that this was one of the few things that Case has really gone out of their way to contact me about. That and money. Despite me not having any.

And, funny... I caught the last 20 minutes or so of the miniseries when it showed on NBC. I desparately wanted to follow the series, but this year is the first time I've ever had cable (not entirely by choice) and even now I don't get the Sci-Fi channel. I thought about buying or renting the DVD's, but I finally resorted to online piracy just this last week. The image quality sucks, so I can't enjoy the space scenes very well, but what a drama!

Friends with TIVO are how I got hooked. There's a BSG viewing group at Wiscsonsin that's held at a post-docs. (He has the cash to have the good cable.)

Yeah, I have a friend who is a big fan of the original BSG, and he hates the new BSG, mostly due to the sex changes of various characters. He has very traditional sense of gender roles. His loss :)

I'm throughly amazed by the new series. what incredible writing and a great cast of actors! Now, if only I could also appreciate the special effects... (the major reason just 20 minutes of the miniseries got me addicted.)
