[Luke happened to be walking by the church when he could hear faint music coming from inside. Curious, he walked in and saw Tear playing the piano. He remained quiet until her song was finished, and then approached her.]

How long have you been able to play the piano?

[The last notes died away slowly. Tear folded her hands in her lap and turned her attention to Luke. How long had he been standing there? She hadn't heard him come in, and he hadn't said anything.]

I started only a month or two ago. I'm not certain it can be called "playing", though.

I guess you could say that music runs in my family. Van used to sing to me when I was little. He... also played the organ occasionally.
