Spider looks tired, exhausted, drained. His face and upper body are littered with scabs and scratches, and there's dried-up blood on his chin and neck. However, you can't help but notice that he looks relieved

"What the hell happened?"

Jake rushed over. It didn't look like he had slept.

"And I love you, for the record."

Spider gently puts the spider down on his chair, then stands up quickly and hugs Jake hard. "Oh, love, ohgod, I love you too.." He hides his face in Jake's shoulder, breathing roughly.

He stroked his back, murmuring nonsense.

Spider keeps repeating that he loves him, closing his eyes tightly. After a few minutes, he calms down and just holds Jake tightly. "I'm sorry."

Victor stared.

And that was all.

He smiles softly. "I'm sorry if I made you worry," he repeats. "I'm fine. Only a few scratches." She might notice that his voice is a tad wobbly around the edges.

She started to cry. She turned away and covered her face and cried.

She had been so worried, and he was hurt.

He stands up, looking concerned, and softly puts a hand on her shoulder. "Oh, sweets, don't cry..I'm fine, see?" He mutters in a soft, calming voice.

Ali hugs him, looking relieved.

He hugs her back, smiling softly. "Hey."

"Welcome back." She tries not to cling too hard.

He doesn't mind the clinging, actually, and hugs her tightly. "Thanks," he whispers, closing his eyes.
