Cassandra silently slipped into the gym shortly after him. She was visibly excited as well, bouncing from foot to foot. It had been a while since she'd had a challenging fight. And given what she'd seen of Jin-Ho, this would prove to be a particularly challenging one. And there was cuddling on the line.

She immediately assumed a fighting stance in front of him, skipping the pleasantries. "Ready?"

"One moment."

Jin-Ho hadn't bothered to keep up his general practice of completely controlling his breathing manually this week. But, for a fight, it was different. It was important. And so, he took in a very slow, deep breath. And then let it all out-and his entire demeanour changed. All his bubbling excitement was gone. His eyes fell to their usual hooded position. Every single movement erased or controlled. Lifting up his arms, he gave a small nod. "Ready."

The abrupt change in body language was interesting, and if he could control his body to that degree, then this would be a tough fight. Her body exhibited similar control, but was a constant state for her body, not just reserved for fighting.

She made the first move and darted forward. A series of quick jabs were thrown at him to assess his speed.

Normally, Jin-Ho too was in a constant state of control. But it wasn't subconscious or automatic-he manually maintained it, at all times. But this week, he had decided to blow it off to have fun. Quite ironic that the most fun would involve putting it back up.

But if it was speed she wanted, Jin-Ho could more than provide. His own movements were literally too fast for the naked human eye to see. Crossing his arms and shifting his upper body to catch each jab in the centre where the guard was strongest, he didn't retaliate, instead calculating her strength. The early stages, of test and return-that was always a good way to build the excitement
