While Obito wasn't thrilled wit the prospect of being in the Facility for a long time, things seems . . . okay. He had family here who were friendly enough from what he saw, and not at all stodgy and stuffy like back home. The founding father of the clan liked to dance and laughed! Depressing as it was to be away from life at home, he thought that here, he might be able to have a decent chance at not being worthless

Of course Obito's room would be covered in the ugliest color ever to assault Kakashi's eyes.

He stood there awkwardly in Obito's doorway, trying not to shuffle from foot to foot. He was a jounin, he wouldn't succumb to idiotic nervous tics.

"Can I come in?"

[obitastic]

"Yeah, of course you can." Obito waited until Kakashi was inside before shutting the door. Kakashi was acting . . . strange. It was odd.

"So, uhh . . . this place, huh? It's crazy. Someone named Allen said I'd get used to it eventually. And you're from the future, right? That must be cool. Um. Is the war over, then?" For some reason, Kakashi was making him feel nervous, and he tried to mask the nerves with words. It wasn't really helping.

Well, Kakashi could at least be thankful that he didn't babble on and on when he was nervous, like Obito.

"Yes, the war is over. Minato-sensei became Hokage not long after it ended." That was one of the easier pieces of the story to tell, but Kakashi figured he may as well get those out of the way first.

He'd let Obito direct the conversation for now, just answering questions.
