Sakumo sat next to his son on his new bed, processing all of the information that his son had given him. This place was stranger than he had initially thought...though if he was going to be here for a long time he supposed he would just have to get used to it. Kakashi seemed to do that and was adapting as well as he could be for this situation.

Though, even though his son was physically fine, he was still worried about him. The last week it seemed like he was avoiding him all together and...Sakumo wasn't sure if it was something he did...or didn't do that had upset his son.

Perhaps...this visit would help bring them closer together?

"Thank you for the tour Kakashi, it was very helpful." Sakumo said with a smile on his face (his mask having be pulled down when the entered Sakumo's room). "Now, I know I sound like a terrible father for even having to ask this but I honestly don't know, how old are you now?"

The first question was one of the easier ones Kakashi had been expecting. General information was easy, something he could list off without emotion.

It was seeing his father smile at him again that threw him off balance for a few seconds.

"I'll be fifteen soon."

Now that he thought about it, it was only a few days until his birthday -- had time really gone by that fast? It seemed both fast and slow in this hellhole.

"You've grown up quite a bit since you were eight years old, son. I've missed a lot of your life it seems."

He knew his son's birthday was coming up and he knew that he should do something for it. It might not be anything big but...he would try and do his best. After all, he had seven birthdays to catch up on.

"Your sensei mentioned that you're a jounin now, what's your team like? Do you get along with them all? Anyone I would know of?"

"They would have been eight years old last you knew, Dad." Kakashi answered the last question first, wondering uncertainly if he should pull his mask down as well.

"Their names were Obito and Rin... Obito and I didn't get along for a long time but we came to an understanding." He spoke quietly, his gaze still lowered towards the floor.
