I'm ambivalent about the fate of the actual royals, and think the current arrangement is a bit silly, but that is

I've been thirsty since everything dried up. The heat is on in our house and at some point between 4am and 5am every morning I get up to get a drink. I don't trust myself to be able to use a glass functionally at that time in the morning, so I get up and stick my face under the tap in the bathroom sink like a golden retriever.
