If someone does bother to ask something they shouldn't, you know what I'll do. So for their sake they had better not.

Steady on- it needn't come to drastic measures, I shouldn't think. There's always another way- and I really oughtn't, but thank you. I'd hate to cut myself off, should I be truly needed. As it is, the power switch is easy enough to find, if push comes to shove.

You're welcome to the library, of course, should you need sanctuary and idle occupation beyond your quarters for the time being. It's quiet enough there; you can imagine how very few here are really interested in books.
