The Senate Committee on Homeland Security is NOT taking calls about Steve Bannon's appointment to the NSC. The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee does not oversee legislation on the National Security Council.
INSTEAD, to voice your opposition to Steve Bannon being seated on the NSC, call the Senate Intelligence Committee (202-224-1700), which is considering a bill (S. 291) by Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) to clarify who serves on the NSC.
Or, even better, call your senators and representatives (202-225-3121, calls routed by zip code) and ask them to support the bill and ask for a committee hearing!

Our state senator is going to vote Devos no matter how many people have left her messages on phone, FB or Twitter. The teachers at my school are very disheartened, even the ones who voted for Trump.
