Thank you very much:-) I loved the chemistry between the two characters and really wanted their relationship to become more than it was. Especially because of poor Gene... He so needs a hug.

I loved the ending! But it was so hard to watch that small goodbye kiss and know that that would be all they would ever have.

No slap for poor Gene... Just a big hug and a cuddle... Philip Glenister is pretty sexy so I may be biased.

I'm so happy to see activity here again, and I just started rewatching Ashes with my bf to make him a Gene Hunt fanboy (he is).

This was so lovely, bittersweet, and just unfff.

Thank you :-D I'm glad you liked it! I am going to be watching Ashes over soon, too, with my husband. He knows I have a huge crush on Philip Glenister so he's kind of acting weird about watching it because he thinks I only want to watch it for Philip and not because it's a wortwhile show to be watching. He's wrong, though. The show is terrific and Philip's just a bonus....

I want to write more little stories in the coming time so maybe there'll be more activity here soon.
