SO the other day firstofoct and I were chatting about different roles David Tennant has played (for a change) and we came to the realization that the majority of them have been assholes. Well, he didn't kill anyone, but he's basically a terrible person, and without even a tragic past to justify it.

Blackpool reminds me a bit of Wuthering Heights in that I enjoyed it despite wanting to punch everyone in the face all the time. And also I liked Blackpool a lot more.

UGH. I HATE WUTHERING HEIGHTS SO MUCH. SO SO SO MUCH. EVERYONE IN THAT BOOK IS THE LITERAL WORST.

And I love Blackpool. A LOT. It has singing! And dancing! And a murder mystery plot! So even though everyone is the worst, it's for comedic effect as opposed to the ~romance and drama~ of Wuthering Heights.

THEY ARE ALL TERRIBLE but I still got caught up in the plot more than I expected to. Except when Joseph narrated in his incoherent dialect lol fuck that shit.

I love Blackpool! I JUST THINK PETER CARLISLE IS A DESPICABLE HUMAN BEING. LOOK AT THAT LIST OKAY, THERE IS ACTUALLY LIKE NO EXAGGERATION OR HYPERBOLE IN THAT LIST.
