X has been back home for a little while now. After spending a night and most of the day in the Nexus with nothing to eat, he gave in and asked for some help. The whole 'don't eat till the LOL wears off' thing wasn't working, and it hadn't helped that he'd skipped breakfast and lunch before he was LOLed into a wolf.

Alia sighed and sent her armor to data storage before she sat down on the couch in her quarters. The message from Zero was relieving at least, if not very informative. X was alright, and now back at base, but apparently he was LOL'ed. She remembered the term from when she visited the Nexus, and how Zero had been LOL'ed not too long ago into a catboy. A hint of a amused smile tugged at her lips as she remembered Zero pissed off at the change, ears flattened against his head and tail lashing.

She was still worried about X, since she still didn't know what exactly happened to him and hadn't seen him since before he disappeared.

It couldn't hurt to visit, could it? ... Maybe X wouldn't mind the company. She was off duty now and didn't recall that she had anything planned. Other than working in her lab, but as she had been reminded time and again, breaks were a good thing

X's ears perked up at the sound of the knock as he lifted his head to look toward the door. Then he flattened his ears in annoyance. He hadn't been expecting anyone, really, and he didn't want to get laughed at more - especially if it was someone from the 17th. He knew Zero wouldn't have bothered waiting to come in after he'd knocked, considering X's current state. X had given him the passcode to his quarters, after all.

Maybe if he just pretended he wasn't home...

X sighed and stood up, shaking himself slightly. That really wouldn't work if the person was determined to find him. He might as well at least find out who it was.

X hopped down to the floor and padded over to the entryway. Hopefully, the security system still recognized his voice despite coming from canine vocal cords - he hadn't tested it yet. He spoke up, trusting the system to carry his voice to the other side of the door. "Hello? Who is it?"

The system did indeed carry to the other side of the door and Alia relaxed slightly at hearing X's voice. At least he didn't seemed loled to the point where he had lost his voice or anything.

"X, it's Alia." She hesitated for a moment before she spoke up again. "Would you like some company?"

X's ears perked up at Alia's voice. And then he remembered he was a furry wolf. His ears drooped and he whined.

Unfortunately, the system carried the distressed whine across to Alia too. X did not realize this as he was busy trying to think of what to say to Alia that wouldn't worry her.
