1. Comment on this post.
2. I will give you a letter.
3. Think of 5 fictional characters and post their names and your comments on these characters in your LJ.

(You can comment without playing-tell me if you want a letter, and I will be happy to give you one.)

selenak gave me "B."

Five characters whose names start with B: )

I'll take a letter.

If you want to do commentary, I'd love to see The Naming of Ghosts. :-)

Have the letter "T," and I'd be happy to do commentary for "The Naming of Ghosts"!

Sharing the Bester and Bilbo love here. And what a chance for Walter Koenig to prove what he can do. How many people become an icon in two cult shows?

Aside from my beloved Centauri, I was most interested in Bester, and found him immensely accessible to write. (The crossover with Garak was just verbal ping pong, I tell you.) As for Bilbo, I am really glad Tolkien changed his mind early on and invented Frodo as the hobbit to take the Ring to Mordor, because I wanted Bilbo to keep his happy ending, and so, despite fallbacks, he did.

Walter Koenig was just awesome in that role, and wow, how different from Chekov can you get?

"Verbal ping pong"--I bet it was!

Aw, yeah, I wanted Bilbo to keep his happy ending, too. I didn't know he'd intended Bilbo to take the Ring to Mordor at first. Although that makes sense, that he would. I'm glad he invented Frodo, too.

I would love commentary on "What I Didn't Know Then".

I just realized why you never responded to my post here. I never hit "post" before I closed the page *headdesk*

*sigh* a further sign that LJ is out to get me. Or I need more donuts in my diet. Or both.

Anything of yours with Yana please. 'Timeless' or the redux verse stuff.

I think I read Watership down about 50 times before I went off to college. I wonder whatever happened to my copy, it was nearly falling apart.

(And YAY for Bester!)

*pets* I have done that. Or written a comment, clicked to another tab, and realized a very long time later that I hadn't actually hit "post comment." LJ needs to do what we want it to do, not what we tell it!

I loved Watership Down too. And one that I read when I was much younger called "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH."

And I shall write commentary for you! Thank you for asking!

oh NIMH! I loved that book! The sequel wasn't as good, if I remember right, but oh well

LJ needs to read minds.

well, maybe. we might get in trouble that way.

There was a sequel? Oh, well, if it wasn't as good, I guess I didn't miss anything. I was telling Karen that I kinda wanted to re-read it for nostalgia purposes, but I was afraid I'd end up shipping Nicodemus/Jenner.

LJ reading minds could be a bit problematic, yes. *nods*

For commentary, I wouldn't mind seeing one for your Dead Letters Entry of the Master's letter to the Doctor.
