Oooh, I love favorite products lists. And I really love Lush, but they closed all stores in Brazil. :( The regular Daisy scent has been my daily perfume for awhile now, but I was recently gifted Lady Gaga's Fame, and I'm legit obsessed. Plus the bottle is CRAZY and the liquid is black, so. It looks super alien, I love it.

I'm definitely gonna try the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque you rec'ced, oh yes. I just need to be done with the, uh, 4 different masks I currently have open. [I have an INSANE AMOUNT of hair products, it's my huge weakness. Along with nail polish. Hee.]

Me too! That's generally why I write posts like these - because I love to read them.

They've been closing the peripheral stores in Stockholm (any not in the very center of town) and since I prefer to go shopping by driving to the destination, I've started shopping at the online store. I guess that's not an option for you, either?

Black perfume? Doesn't it stain the skin? I gotta try the perfume when I get to a store that carries it, but I've gotten so used to Daisy that I haven't been able to wear other scents. If I do, I smell them on me all day and end up nauseated.

Hair products are so NOT my weakness (though I have been buying some nail polishes lately), but my hair was such a mess this winter that I had to try out a bunch of stuff to bring it back to at least some sort of hair-approximation.

I can order Lush stuff from the UK online store, but the shipping ends up being super expensive.

I've struggled with my hair through all of my teens and twenties [it's not curly enough to be actually curly, but it's also not straight]. I spent years just either wearing it up or straightening it after every wash, but I finally found a semi-permanent straightening process that I'm not allergic to, and that is easy enough that I can do it myself [I hate beauty salons with a passion]. I've been doing it monthly for the past 2 years or so, and I'm pretty happy with the results. The downside is that it needs care, but I do have fun trying out different products to see what happens. :)

And now my life is awesome again because this weekend I found they'd opened a Lush store at a mall outside of the city center, meaning I can shop in-store again! *happy dance*

I'm also not a fan of salons (the fact that I haven't cut my hair in over a year is proof enough of that), but I'm also terribly afraid of doing something wrong with my hair. Last time I went, the hair dresser (who was very good, actually) clucked very disapprovingly at my at home dye jobs, so now I've given those up too.

I keep forgetting to reply to this! I think it's because I already composed the reply in my head, so I'm tricked into thinking I've actually posted it.

I still love Daisy so much that my only beef with it is that my nose has adjusted to it so much that except for the moment I spray it on, I never smell it on myself anymore. Which sucks, because being surrounded by that scent all day was a guaranteed pick-me-up.

I've tried the silver edition apart from the spring/summer special editions and the regular Daisy, but I have been tempted to buy the Pop Art edition - an online store I buy from still has it and the bottle calls out to me. It's just that it's only available in the large size, and thus more expensive. Which is not exactly what you want when you're looking at old perfumes.

Scandinavian hair is the worst! All limp and useless. I only hope the trends towards more volume as I'm getting older will keep going strong. I am actually getting a bit of a wave in my hair!

I've had some Lush products that were just not for me (their soaps are usually too aromatic for my taste, for instance), but as you can see, there are some products that I've tried that I just can't do without anymore. And best of all, they opened a store at a mall near me, meaning I don't have to go into Stockholm city or order online anymore! And I'm with you, I've got to try one of those fresh face masks. I've been eyeing the chocolate one, but I'm not sure it's the best bet for me (the description makes it seem like it's geared towards a younger clientele).

I started with a 100% Pure body butter, but I was not a fan of anything except for the scent. (The body butter is like a hardened version of petroleum jelly or something. Nothing soft and fluffy about it, and it leaves the skin greasy.) However, when I got the same scent - Meyer Lemon! - in the body scrub, my perception of the company changed a lot, because that stuff is awesome!

I'm obsessed with beauty products and I'm also nosy, so I LOVE this post. I wish everyone on my flist would do a post like this so I can find out what beauty products people really like. I have a problem with mascara smudging, too, it's annoying.
