Everyone and their mother

Feb 25, 2008 14:00

I know everyone and their mother has posted this vid already (it was kind of funny, because this morning's posts that weren't about this were "ZOMG Javier Bardem looks exactly like Daddy Winchester!!!!"), but I gotta call EPIC FAIL on the old flist for failing to bring the original vid to my attention in the month or so it's been available.

F*cking Matt/Ben under here. )

gvp (gratuitous video post), videos: embedded for your pleasure, tv: make me a supermodel

i've seen the Sarah Silverman video, but not the Jimmy Kimmel vid. that's hilarious. i think it shows how their relationship is all about fun.

I'm just kinda sad that I missed out on the Matt one until now.

I've never seen a single episode of either of their shows, but I'm thinking I might find Sarah's and give that a whirl.

HA! "F*cking Ben Affleck" "We Are The World"-style! With Huey Lewis! And is that Brad Pitt as the FedEx guy? Because I think I've seen that porno. Thank you for that :)

I admit to the epic failure of not sharing the original vid far and wide, but bigboobedcanuck posted it weeks ago, so she should get a pass ;)

That is indeed Brad.

See, that's why I added that disclaimer, because I'm not much of a vid watcher, so unless someone gives me a really good reason to watch it (threats of bodily harm usually work), I just pass them over. =)

LMAOOOO!

I had to tear myself away from the computer & TV to go to sleep after watching "I'm f*cking Ben Affleck" after the Oscars. I didn't know about "I'm f*cking Matt Damon" till last night/early this morning, sadly. Those vids are pure gold. I don't know how many times I watched them last night.

I'm not completely sure this doesn't top the Stewart/Colbert/O'Brien rivalry in terms of creativity during the writers strike. MADE OF WIN!

I think the Stewart/Colbert/O'Brien rivalry is on a totally different level of awesomeness. *nods*

Holy crap, he really went all out with the retaliation! That could have fallen really flat next to the Matt one, but it so didn't. I'm going to be re-watching that all day now. *g*

I agree with EVERYTHING you said about MMaS, except that I don't know if I'd say Holly is my favourite. It's funny with this show, it seems like there's no one I love absolutely. All of them have done something or said something at some point to make me dislike them. Which, I guess is realistic, and you don't have to like everything about a person to like them at all, but still. Actually, Casey and Shannon haven't bothered me, but neither have they stood much. I'd like to see both of them step it up.

I do hope Perry sticks around, because arrogant and obnoxious as he is (I couldn't believe his reaction to the judges taking him down a notch. Really did not handle that with grace at all) I do think he has potential. I'm happy with Jackie leaving, but I'd rather have Ronnie go because I'd like to see how Ben does without him.

Oh, also?

[Of course, it's entirely possible the EPIC FAIL is all my own because I'm pretty bad at watching videos when there's no explanation.]

SAME HERE. Without a hint of what the link is 9 out of 10 times I scroll on by. That's partly because Teija once linked to a giant picture of a spider, partly to avoid nefarious websites full of spyware, and partly because I just couldn't be bothered wasting my time on one of the many things I'm not interested in.

I know, it's so hard to think he could top that, but he so did. Of course, I think it could have helped that the actors were probably getting a bit bored, what with the writers strike and all (they must have filmed it before it ended, I think ( ... )

*bwahahahaha*

that's actually the first time I've watched either of the videos.
I know the first one was linked a lot on my flist, but with only the explanation "Sarah Silverman is fucking Matt Damon" I couldn't be bothered to watch it.
Also? for some reason embedded vids tend to crash on me.
In 95% I just scroll by any kind of video. Mostly because I have no interest in most of it. I'm not into fanvids. I don't watch American Daily Shows. uhm, there's not much left after this...
I wonder if I missed out on a lot by now. heeeee. this one was pure genius.

If I'd seen that explanation (and it's possible I did and promptly forgot), I probably wouldn't have watched either. If I'd known people found it hysterically funny, I would have. Probably.

I know what you mean about not being into fanvids. It's not that I don't enjoy the occasional one, or even find some brilliant, it's that they've never been an essential part of the fandom experience for me.
