Well, that sucked

I posted an Office season finale picspam, and I thought the comments were kind of sparse, even for a Friday. Then I go back and look, and for some reason the post was backdated over three hours. Thanks, LJ, I know I can always count on you [to screw things up]!

Let's talk a little ( Shear Genius while I'm here. )

tv: shear genius, tv: veronica mars season 3

I was planning on looking at your picspam later, as I haven't seen the finale yet!

I just had to post about it because it felt like a whole lot of work down the drain if no one saw it. Plus, I thought it was pretty! Though massive. Over 150 caps. Ouch!

I haven't been watching VM since after the hiatus, but I do read everyone's comments on it, and it seems like it's just lame, lazy writing all around. The Keith comment in particular made me roll my eyes, because Keith seemed accepting enough of Logan this season, which made me believe that even though Keith probably still had his reservations about Logan (because what father wouldn't?) he realized that Logan has saved his daughter's life and loves her enough to make sure she's safe, which would win him points with most dads. Yeah, Keith's comment about surfing was pretty harmless, in terms of what he else could've said about Logan's personality, but it's also silly because it makes it sound like Keith's just so grateful that Veronica is bringing home a guy who reads and talks about deep, thought-provoking issues, as opposed to one who surfs and has saved his daughter's life on multiple occasions.

I'm off to look at the picspam!

I think the reason the comment bothers me is that I get the feeling that Keith and Logan never really spent any time together (the dinner seemed like and extraordinary event, and the only other time we saw him at their place was when he and Veronica were arguing about her unnecessary risk-taking), so I feel like he's speaking about Logan's general character. If that's the general idea he's got about Logan after all that's happened in the past few years then...well, I don't even know. It just feels so wrong to me.

Shear Genius: that is why I *hate* team challenges where the whole team goes. At least on PR, they evaluate the team MEMBER usually. The way SG did it, one team member can TOTALLY bring down the other.

I completely agree. Tyson may have deserved to go this time around, but Tabatha's do would have earned her points on skill level and presentation alone had she been judged on her own merit. Instead she goes because Tyson sucked and she mentioned she didn't like him? I did not enjoy that at all.

I was going to say the same thing as harper47 - Tabatha should have just kept her mouth shut. Apparently sticking it to Tyson was more important than winning to her. ::shrugs::

I still like both Anthony and Daisy. How that hell has Ben made it this far? Nice guy, but seriously.

And I have not even watched VM since it came back - the episodes are sitting unwatched on the DVR. Maybe I'll get to them. I have to see how everyone likes the finale first. *g*

Yeah, and it's funny how in her exit interview she actually seemed okay with losing, just as long as Tyson didn't win.

I think Ben has done one thing that I was impressed with, but mostly it's been okay to bad.

VM without the mystery arc doesn't work for me, just like I feared it wouldn't.

Pretty much everything about Keith's characterization says his life revolves around his daughter (and may even be why he turns a blind eye to all her flaws - he can't handle incorporating that into his entire world view), and yet Logan earns no cookie points? If I believed for a second that Veronica had told him about Shelly's party I may believe he'd carry that resentment around, but since he didn't bat an eye when it came to Duncan there's no way in hell she's told him.
