In case anyone was wondering, my father went in for open-heart surgery this past Wednesday. It's been a pretty sleepless couple of nights for all in my family. I'm happy to report that all is going exceptionally well. I got to see him that afternoon and he was still recovering from the surgery. Looks like the surgery is called off until next week. I can only imagine the mental preparation my father has been going through to prepare and now they're waiting until next week.

Hooray, another week of heavy drinking and no sleep.
