Vam Prompt 035 - Stars
We lay in your backyard, just staring at the nature’s wonder that is before us. It seems that every star in our galaxy has come out on this night, to reveal themselves to us.
A sudden crisp breeze has moved you even closer to me, your chocolate brown curls now resting on my chest. I entwine my fingers into your hair, and massage soft circles onto your head.
“It’s so beautiful out tonight. I can see so many constellations.” You say
“It’s not as beautiful as you.”
Your crystalline blue orbs are no longer on the night sky, they’ve turned their attention to me.
“Awww.” You coo, a smile on your face
“I only speak the truth.”
His eyes have once again turned back to the night sky. I can’t blame him for doing so, it is a wondrous night. You rarely see these types of nights in Pennsylvania, or anywhere else in the United States for that matter. There are too many lights here, it’s not like back home, where you can see the Aurora Borealis some nights.
“Hey Ville?” He calls to me
“Yeah sweetheart?”
“I love you.”
“I love you too sweetheart.”
We laid there in the grass all night, just staring at the sky. He in my arms, our heads towards the night sky until every beautiful star was extinguished, and day had broken.
