So I figured that I would jump on the band wagon and post my entry in the Fluffly Fic Contest as well.
Title- Vows
Rating- PG
Notes- It probably doesn't make much sense because I rushed with it, but hopefully it works out.
These words had been so hard to put on paper. I had such problem just trying to make the words sound right. There were so many stories that I could have told about him. Special moments together. Cute little stories. Sentimental phrases. There were so many to choose from. Hmmm, how about the story of how we first met.
Bam reached nervously into the pocket of tuxedo and pulled out a somewhat crumpled piece of paper. He glanced around at all of the happy faces in the hall, getting a re-assuring smile from his mother and father who both beamed at him proudly. He turned and looked straight into the beautiful jade green eyes of his lover. Bam took hold of one of Ville's and hands and gently laced their fingers tightly together.
"Ville Valo, there are so many things that I could have said about you today" Bam began nervously "But I wanted to share the story of how I fell in love with you with everyone today....
"I remember the first time I ever saw you. It was junior year of Highschool and you had just transferred in. I remember that you were standing there in your tight jeans and Black Sabbath shirt. You looked confused (and so adorable) that I had to come over I help you. I believe that I fell in love with you the very first time you spoke to me, the very first time that you looked into my eyes.
"I remember how nervous I was the first time we ever went on a date. I didn't know what you would say. Thank god you said 'yes'. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't. We went to a diner to eat. I could not believe how much you opened up to me that night. You wear your heart on your sleeve, and that is one of your most beautiful qualities, Ville".
Bam glanced up from his paper and saw Ville's watering eyes and small smile. He bit back on his lip and lifted Ville's hand up to his lips and kissed it lightly.
"I remember the first time that we ever kissed. The way that you smiled when I cupped the sides of your face in my hands. I have never felt a kiss that sparked so much emotion in me as yours did. It was a just another sign that we were meant to be together."
Bam looked deeply into Ville's eyes again.
"And we are meant to be together Ville. I have known it from the first time I ever talked to you. You make me feel so complete Baby. You have stuck by me through thick and thin over the past 6 years. We have made it through so much. That year that we were apart from each other because of our work, which was the single most difficult experience of my life. But despite the odds, we made it through that year. I believe that it made our love even stronger.
Bam was now biting down on his own quivering lip to keep from crying.
"The love that I have for you, Ville. It is the most beautiful feeling that I could ever experience. The love I feel for you is so strong that I still have to convince myself everyday that it isn't a dream. You keep me alive. Because of you I have a reason to wake up in the morning. You make the light at the end of the tunnel so much brighter. I can't wait to start the next chapter of our lives together. There is nothing I would love more than to spend the rest of our lives together, Baby".
Bam looked at the man in front of him. The person that he cared about more than anything. Ville's had made his hair fall down into his face to cover his eyes, trying to hide his tears. Bam cupped Ville's face in his hands and wiped the delicate teats away with his thumbs. They pulled each other into a tight embrace.
"Oh my love, my love" Ville whispered over and over into Bam's ears. "I love you so much, Sweetheart".
They turned away from each other and faced the front of the hall again.
"I now pronounce you Husband and Husband. You may kiss your partner"
Those were the best words I have ever heard.
