Ville sat silently in the hospitable room his eyes closed as he listened to the steady beep. They said Bam would be okay but he felt horrible he’d tried three times to call Bam’s family each time his mother had slammed the phone down refusing to acknowledge her son. He sighed opening his eyes and studied the sleeping Bam. His face was paler then normal, both his eyes were blackened, his nose was broken. But that was the least of his injuries, the knife had nearly punctured his lung and they had to keep him sedated to make sure he didn’t do more damage to himself.

Ville hadn’t left the room once he didn’t know what to do. He needed to get a hold of someone on Bam’s end of the world. Hopefully someone would relay the message to Bam’s parents. He got up and slipped out of the room and dialed on his cell phone calling up Cim.

“Hey, Cim can you do something for me?” He asked softly.

“Always,” She responded. “What’s up how’s the kid?” She asked.

“He’s doing better the doctors are going to bring him out of sedation tomorrow.” He responded. “I need you to find Bam’s cell phone and bring it up here for me.” He said. “I’m going to try and call one of his friends.”

She laughed. “Alright, I’ll be up there around dinner want me to bring you some real food?” She asked with a chuckle.

“Yeah,” He said. “You know what I like.” He said with a laugh.

“Alright, take care of yourself Ville.” She responded.

“I will Cim, don’t worry about me,” He said softly.

“Love ya ville,” She said softly.

“Love you to Cim, I don’t know what I’d do with out you,” He said.

“Probably starve to death.” She said with a laugh hanging up the phone.

Ville sighed and shook his head then stepped back into the hospitable room. He studied Bam who remained asleep. He sighed softly and sat down to await Cimerin ‘s arrival.

Dunn was sprawled out on the floor of his bedroom going over his books. He shifted and shoved the books away looking annoyed. He growled and sat up rubbing his forehead, if Bam was here he’d make some stupid joke and manage to make Dunn forget the finals were coming up. He hadn’t heard from Bam but his mom had heard from April and he was grounded. He sighed and climbed to his feet and made his way over to the desk and sat down. He sighed and booted up his computer.

He was surfing the net looking up research when his cell phone rang loudly and bracingly. He grabbed at it dropped it on the floor as a HIM’s “Vampire Heart” Played as it rang. He snatched it up and flipped it open.

“Bam?!” He cried. “What the hell are you thinking your Mom’s like disowned you.” He said with out thinking that it wouldn’t be Bam calling him.

“Hello,” A man who obviously wasn’t Bam said.

“Hello?” Dunn said arching an eyebrow. “Whose this?”

“Um, This is Ville Valo I’m looking for a friend of Bam’s.” He said.

“Shit,” Dunn said. “Its you, you’re the one Bam ran off to Finland to meet.” He said.

Ville cleared his throat. “Are you a friend of his?” He asked.

Dunn nodded then realizing Ville couldn’t see him spoke. “Yeah, I’ve known him sense I was five, were best friends or I’d liked to think we are.”

Ville sighed. “Would you be able to get a message to his family?”

Dunn sucked air between his teeth thinking about what Ville was asking. “His mom isn’t talking to me which means no I can’t get one to his mom or Dad,” He paused. “But I can call his older brother Jess.” He said.

Ville sighed again. “That’s good.” He said softly.

“So, what do you need me to tell him?” He asked.

“Bam’s hurt,” Ville paused. “He’ll be okay but, he needs his family.”

Dunn was flabbergasted. “Hurt?” He said. “How did he get hurt?” He cried.

“He was attacked in an alley.” Ville explained. “The man stabbed him.”

Dunn nearly dropped his cell phone again then blanched. “Oh god,” He said. “I’ll call Jess right away, and If I have to break his parents door down, I’ll tell them to.” He said.

Ville sighed softly. “Thank you,” He said. “I should go, I left Bam alone in his room,” He paused. “Good night,”

Dunn nodded then spoke slowly. “Thank you for calling me, goodnight.” He hung up his cell phone and looked around his room. With only a moments thought he grabbed his jacket and pulled it on. He pocketed his cell phone and hurried down the stairs.

“Ryan where are you going?” He mom yelled after him.

“To Bam’s house!” He yelled back.

“Oh no you don’t your gro-“ The rest of what she was yelling was lost as he shut the door behind him and ran as quickly as he could through the streets of Westchester to Bam’s house. He paused a block away and pulled out his cell phone and dialed slowly his hand shaking as he struggled to control his breathing. “Fuck, I need to quit smoking,” He mumbled.

By the third ring he was pretty positive no one was going to pick up when a bleary sounded voice broke the ringing.

“Hello?” 21 year old Jess Margera mumbled sleepily into the phone.

“Jess, its Ryan,” He said quickly.

“Who?”

“Rya- shit, its Dunn!” He snapped into the phone.

“Do you know what time it is?” He asked.

“Late, I’m sure..” He said hurrying on. “Listen, Bam’s been hurt he’s in the hospitable.”

With in minutes the older Margera brother sounded more awake. “What’s going on?” He asked.

“He’s in Finland, long story no time to explain, he’s in Helsinki call his cell ask for Ville.” He took a deep breath. “He was attacked in an alley and stabbed, He needs his family.”

“Shit,” Jess cursed. “Alright, I’ll head there now, I’m getting my keys.” He paused. “You gonna tell Ape and Phil?” He asked.

“Heading there now,” Dunn responded.

“Alright, I’ll call you if I hear anything,” Jess responded.

“Same here,” Dunn replied.

“Bye,” Jess said and hung up leaving the dead phone in Dunn’s hands. Dunn shoved it in his pocket and set off at a Jog till the Margera house came into view. He hurried to the door and set to banging on it hard.

“APE!! PHIL WAKE UP! WAKE UP!” He screamed at the top of his lungs.

A light in the upstairs window came on, and Dunn sighed with relief. He waited now patiently until Ape opened the door and looked out at him coldly. “What?” She said.

“Ape, listen.” He said. “Bam’s been hurt, he was stabbed, he needs you.” He said.

The woman shook her head and started to shut the door but Dunn jammed his foot in the doorway trying to stop it from slamming it home. Instead it slammed on his foot. He let out a yelp of pain but held his foot in place wedging his shoulder in the door. “PHIL!” He yelled into the house. “BAM’S HURT! PHIL!!” He screamed.

Phil appeared at the top of the stairs. “What?” He asked.

“I said Bam’s hurt,” He said panting for air now.

Ape just shook her head. “He’s made his decision,” She started.

“He’s still your son!” Dunn pressured.

“I don’t care!” She snapped.

“April!” Phil suddenly snapped coming down the stairs. “Honey, your telling me you don’t care about our son?” He asked.

April looked away then sighed. “Of course I care,” She said sadly. “But he’s the one who left!”

“He’s 17 April he’s not your baby anymore.” Phil said softly.

“I-I-know, its just...” She trailed off looking sad. “I..I can’t,” She shook her head. “He’s gay,” She whispered.
